Thursday, June 12 @ 2pm

What’s a camera without a lens? A camera obscura! Light rays
reflect off of every object, and when these reflections hit the
inside of a camera, the image is reproduced upside down and
left to right.

Kids will make their own camera obscura and then get to experiment with it.

Messy Art

Thursday, June 19 @ 2pm

Create messy art projects outside!  Kids will be using sponge bombs, flicking brush bristles and spraying paint to create 3 art projects

Color Exploration

Tuesday, June 24 @ 10 am

Come and explore with colors.  

Can you make a new color?

What happens if you combine colors?

What if you add black or white to a color?

Kids will use their new colors to make an art project.

Slime

Thursday, July 10 @ 2pm

Learn how to make slime and then play with it!!

Weaving

Tuesday, July 15 @ 10 am

We will be weaving with straws, a cardboard loom or using a paper bowl.

Outdoor Games

Thursday, July 31 @ 4 pm

There will be a variety of outdoor games to play with and try out, includeing a parachute!

Greenfield Elementary Gym

Have you ever met an owl face to face? What about a hawk? A falcon? Meet some of Wisconsin’s common, but rarely encountered birds. Discover what a raptor is, hear their stories and learn what you can do to ensure they remain a significant part of the ecosystem.

Held at the Library

 Come see live animals, including an intriguing assortment of snakes, lizards, insects, spiders, hedgehogs, birds, and more.  If time permits, attendees have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals.

Bring your lunch and eat at the library (indoors or outside) before or after the program.
