Travelling Book Club in Woodville

Area Libraries Offer Traveling Book Club - Feed Your Face While You Feed Your Mind

Book clubs are great ways to discuss with others how you felt about a book, what you didn’t like or what you might have learned about other lives and worlds.  They are even more fun when you can have snacks and maybe a drink while you chat!  However, if you don’t look forward to cleaning the house and baking when it’s your turn for hosting, this might be the book club for you:  Six St. Croix County Libraries are starting a new Traveling Book Club that will rotate each month between different restaurants.  We think it will be fun to explore different towns and eateries while you meet new people and try new books.  Or bring your own friends and family for a fun night out!  Please register at your local library and order a copy of the book from our system.  Then on the third Thursday of the month join us to relax over food and beverage at 6:00 pm if you want, with discussion beginning at 6:30.  You are not obligated to go to every one or to buy any food.  Signing up ahead will help us plan at the restaurants, but don’t let that stop you from showing up anyway!  We’ve chosen a variety of books that all have lots of possible topics for discussion.  For questions or to register, call any of the following libraries:

Oct. 18 –    Baldwin (715-684-3813)    –    Phoenix Grill
The Same Sky   by Amanda Eyre Ward   (a girl journeys to reunite family, adoption topic)
