This fall the library will present a series of free workshops/discussions on family history research, sponsored by the Historical Society. Local history enthusiasts will lead the sessions, with a variety of themes:

Wed. Sept 12, 6-8pm: Join area history fans in a roundtable discussion focused on family history research and various resources available to help you with this project.

Job Center comes to you!  State Workforce experts are here to help job-seekers on a drop-in basis anytime between 10am and 12pm, on the third Thursday of each month.   Free help on applying for jobs online, polishing up resumes, interviewing tips, and ideas of where to look.   Also available an other times by appointment if these times don't work for you.
